After generating an article, click Publish and it goes live on your WordPress site without copy-pasting or switching tabs.

What this unlocks

The Publish button appears on the article editor page once WordPress is connected. Clicking it opens a dialog where you set the post title, select a category, and choose the publication status (draft or published). Erlin pushes the article to your WordPress site as a new post.

Before you start

You need a WordPress site with REST API access enabled. Both self-hosted WordPress (WordPress.org) and WordPress.com Business plans work. Make sure your site allows API authentication.

Connecting WordPress

1

Open Integrations

Go to Settings > Integrations from the sidebar.
2

Click Connect on the WordPress card

Find WordPress in the Available Integrations section and click Connect.
3

Enter your WordPress site details

Provide your WordPress site URL and authentication credentials. Erlin uses these to connect to your site’s REST API.
4

Verify the connection

Erlin tests the connection to confirm it can reach your WordPress site. Once verified, the integration card shows as connected.

Publishing an article

After generating an article in Content > Create > Article, the Publish button appears in the article editor toolbar. Click it to open the publish dialog:
  • Post title: defaults to the article title (editable)
  • Category: select from your WordPress categories
  • Status: choose Draft (saves without publishing) or Published (goes live immediately)
Confirm and Erlin sends the article to your WordPress site. The post URL appears in Erlin after successful publishing.

Disconnecting

Remove the WordPress connection from the integration card in Integrations. The Publish button on articles disappears. Previously published articles remain on your WordPress site unchanged.
