Slash commands are pre-built workflows that orchestrate multiple Erlin tools and deliver a formatted report in a single response. Type / in Claude Desktop, pick a command, and get results without chaining tool calls yourself.
Slash commands require a paid Erlin plan. They depend on collections, dashboards, and competitor data that are not available on the free tier.

How to use a slash command

Type / in the Claude input field. Select a command from the menu. Most commands work with zero arguments: Erlin defaults to your primary website and default collection. If you track multiple websites or collections, pass the one you want as an argument. Slash commands appear in the / menu alongside commands from other connectors you have installed.

Weekly visibility check-in

/erlin_weekly_visibility returns a 7-day summary of your Visibility Score, citation rate, share of voice, and average position, plus a competitor leaderboard showing the top 10 brands mentioned alongside yours. Arguments: Example:

Competitor deep dive

/erlin_competitor_deep_dive produces a full competitive landscape review. You get a ranked table of the top 20 competitors by share of voice, with already-favorited ones starred. After the table, Claude suggests which non-favorited competitors you might want to start tracking and offers to add them for you. Arguments: Example:

Content opportunities

/erlin_content_opportunities surfaces the highest-impact pages to fix this week by cross-referencing three signals: content decay, optimization recommendations, and GSC search performance. You get a prioritized table of pages ranked by combined signal strength. Each row shows the page URL, a tier (Critical, High, or Medium), the decay signal, the recommended action, GSC impressions, and a “Why now” reason pulled from the data. Arguments: Example:
Erlin fetches content decay data, optimization recommendations, and GSC search performance in parallel. It correlates pages across all three sources and surfaces the ones where signals overlap: a page that is decaying, has a recommendation, and has high impressions is a Critical tier opportunity. The GSC date range is stated at the top of the output so you know how current the data is. Tier logic:

Search performance review

/erlin_search_performance turns your Search Console data into a two-section report. Optionally refreshes GSC data before reading. You get: organic search performance (top pages by clicks, branded vs non-branded split) and coverage health (index status breakdown with flags for crawling issues). Arguments: Example:

When sync_first is true, Erlin syncs your GSC data in the background and waits for completion before reading. If the sync takes longer than five minutes, it proceeds with the most recent available data.

Fan-out audit

/erlin_fanout_audit is a sub-query gap analysis that reveals which competitors win each variation of a topic in AI search. This is the most involved slash command: it generates prompts, runs live visibility checks, and reports positioning gaps. Erlin generates 8 to 12 sub-queries spanning different intent types (comparison, how-to, edge cases, definitional), asks you to confirm the list, creates them as tracked prompts, runs visibility checks across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, then presents a table showing your position vs competitors on each sub-query. Arguments: Example:
Erlin generates sub-queries like “best CRM for startups vs HubSpot,” “how to choose a CRM for startups,” “CRM pricing for startups,” and others. After you confirm the list, it creates the prompts, runs checks, and delivers a table: After the table, Erlin summarizes how many sub-queries you win vs how many are gaps, and suggests content actions to close them.
This command creates new tracked prompts in your collection and runs live visibility checks. Both consume credits. The prompts remain tracked on future scans.
