Connect AI assistants like Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible tools directly to your Erlin AI data. Ask questions in plain language and get answers from the same data the dashboard shows.

What you can do

  • Check brand visibility across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity — see where your brand is mentioned and where it’s not
  • Compare against competitors on visibility score, share of voice, and positioning
  • Run visibility checks on demand without opening the dashboard
  • Pull analytics from Google Analytics and Search Console through conversation
  • Manage collections and prompts — create, update, or delete tracked prompts
  • Run pre-built workflows like the weekly visibility pulse, competitor deep dive, and content opportunities report

How it works

1

Connect

Add the Erlin MCP server to your AI tool using your API key. See the setup guide for your platform.
2

Ask questions

Chat naturally with your AI assistant about your brand’s visibility. It pulls real data from your Erlin account.
3

Get insights

Receive formatted tables, scores, and recommendations — the same data as your dashboard, delivered conversationally.

Connection details

Your tool may ask for these details:
FieldValue
Server URLhttps://mcp.erlin.ai/mcp
TransportStreamable HTTP
AuthenticationOAuth (Claude Desktop) or API Key (X-API-Key header)

Authentication

Erlin uses OAuth for the simplest setup — just click Connect in Claude Desktop and sign in with your Erlin account. No API keys needed. For developer tools (Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code), you’ll use an API key instead. Get yours from Account → MCP Integration in the Erlin dashboard. Keys start with ek_live_.
Never share your API key publicly or commit it to version control.

Supported platforms

The MCP server is currently tested and supported on:
  • Claude Desktop (macOS, Windows)
  • Claude Code (CLI)
Support for Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and other MCP-compatible clients is planned.

Why use the MCP integration

  • No context switching — get visibility data without leaving your AI assistant
  • Natural language queries — ask “How’s my brand doing?” instead of navigating dashboards
  • Real-time data — pulls live data from your Erlin account, not cached summaries
  • Pre-built workflows — slash commands like /erlin_weekly_visibility run multi-step analyses in one command
  • Team-friendly — if your org uses Claude for Work, one admin setup gives everyone access
  • 26 tools available — from quick visibility checks to full competitor deep dives and analytics pulls

Requirements

  • An Erlin AI account (free or paid)
  • A supported AI tool (Claude Desktop, Cursor, etc.)
  • An API key from Account → MCP Integration
