# Product

> Generate AI-optimized product page descriptions from a title, description, and optional product image.

Enter your product details and Erlin generates an optimized description using your brand tone and SEO keywords. You can optionally upload a product image for richer output.

## Two options

Open **Content > Create > Product** to see two tabs:

| Option                      | What you provide                             | What Erlin does                                              |

| **Create New Product**      | Title, description, keywords, optional image | Generates a full product description from scratch            |
| **Update Existing Product** | Product page URL, keywords                   | Reads the current page and generates an improved description |

## Creating a new product description

    Click the **Create New Product** tab on the left panel.

  <Step title="Enter product title">
    Type the name of your product. This becomes the heading of the generated description.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add a short product description">
    Write a one or two sentence summary of what the product is. Erlin uses this as the starting context.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add a detailed description (optional)">
    If you have more detail (features, specs, benefits), add it here. The more context Erlin has, the richer the output.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Upload a product image (optional)">
    Upload an image from your device or select one from your image library. Erlin analyzes the image and extracts visual details (colors, materials, design elements) to enrich the generated description.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add SEO keywords">
    Enter the keywords you want the description to target. Separate multiple keywords with commas or add them one by one.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Generate">
    Erlin writes the product description using your brand tone, the product details you provided, and any visual information from the image. The result appears on the right panel.

## Updating an existing product

Select the **Update Existing Product** tab. Enter the product page URL and optionally add a meta title, meta description, and SEO keywords. Click Generate. Erlin reads the current page content and produces an improved description written in your brand tone.

## Product images

Erlin can analyze product images to extract visual details that make descriptions more specific. Two ways to provide an image:

* **Upload from device**: drag and drop or click to select a file
* **Select from image library**: browse previously uploaded images

When you provide an image alongside a short product description, Erlin identifies visual attributes (shape, color, material, style) and weaves them into the generated text.

## What Erlin generates

The output is a product description that includes:

* A title optimized for the target keywords
* A full description written in your brand tone
* SEO metadata (when applicable)

The generated description appears in the right panel. Copy it to your product page or use it as a starting draft.

## Prerequisites

Brand tone must be set up before Erlin can generate product descriptions. If tone data is missing, Erlin shows a dialog prompting you to generate your brand tone first via **Brand > Tone**.
